Real-Time Production Visibility Without Vendor Lock-In

Real-time production visibility does not have to mean a proprietary platform and vendor lock-in. In our demo we built a complete OPC UA-based production data collection chain – from PLC variables all the way to a live Grafana dashboard.

The setup demonstrates how to connect multiple PLCs through OPC UA, collect and structure their variables, store them as time series, and visualize live production status in Grafana – using open, widely supported components at every layer.

The same architecture scales from a single test line to a whole plant: add machines, add tags, and the pipeline keeps delivering structured data that dashboards, alerts, OEE calculations, and later AI applications can all build on. This is the data foundation we deploy at customers – open, inspectable, and yours.
